Has anyone installed a turbo on a 95-98 hyundai accent? Anyone tought of doing an engine swap with a toyota GT turbo? The Accent 1.3l is just 84bhp where a toyota gt turbo is 135bhp. come on... the hyundai 1.3l can push out more power.

 

its possible to put boost on just about any engine i think its just a question of is it worth it for a pea shooter of a 1.3L engine...if you want to spend the cash on a proper turbo setup maybe look into spending it on swapping in a tibberon engine first? they would handle boost much better too.

 

a tiburon is a 2.0L engine, it gets to be bit heavy and bulky. how does it fit under an accent hood? what i know is that the toyota gt turbo is a direct fit for the accent with no problems.
