A/C evaporator coil

A/C evaporator coil
Do they really have to remove the entire dash just to get a pic of a leaking evaporator coil?
2016 Accent, covered by extended warranty. Company wants pic for proof, then will cover it. Dealer says it will cost me $1000 for the breakdown to take the pic, as warranty co won't cover it.
I called the warranty co and they said the dealer should be able to use a snake camera to take a picture.
Is this true? I'll BUY then the snake camera for crying out loud!
Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

So we are all on the same page, why is the evap in need of replacement?
Don't know if this is in response to no A/C or something leaking inside the vehicle or maybe something else.
The more I read this , the more questions come up.
Who said the evap coil is leaking? How was it determined to be leaking?
If it is known to be leaking a picture is not necessary.
.Replacement is required and there is no more to it.
What is really going on here?
I suspect the warranty co is looking for a way out.
Nobody would want to get into this job just to make a few bucks, that is not smart.
Sending the old part to the co should be sufficient unless they don't want to honor the warranty.
If that is the case, why not let everybody know the name of this co.
