Default Conversion for 2014 Accent from 14” wheels to 15” wheels

I recently bought a 2014 accent for rideshare and deliveries. I’m used to driving trucks my whole entire life and the handling of these 14 inch rims is awful.

I’d like to upgrade to 15 inch rims with four lugs so I don’t have to do a conversion to 5 lugs. Looking for exact formenterano to OEM lug pattern.

The cheapest plain black rim I’m finding is around $70 to $90 so I figured I’d just go ahead and spend more like $115 per wheel for something that looks like a little nicer and gives a better ride.

Two questions: any recommendations for four lug 15 inch rims and then what tire specs would I need to order to fit in the wheel wells?

i’m guessing that if I put 15 inch rims on, I need a lower aspect ratio sidewall height.

Larger diameter rims allow use of low profile tires that can deliver better handling at higher speeds, but also deliver a hard ride.

The smaller diameter rim allows for a tire with a greater sidewall and more cushioned ride.

Most tire stores will be able to better answer your questions as to if different size wheel will fit and probably be able to offer a place to obtain them.

I currently upgrade my accent from 14" to 16" and recalculate wheels ratio. Yep that need a thinner sidewall. In my county Accent that have 14" wheels having 175/70. If you wanna change to 15" its best to change you tire to 205/50 or 295/35 if you wanna upgrade to 16" its better use 195/50. I suggest to use no more than 7" wide with ET42 to get a good fitment.
