Default Fuel Consumption

Hello everybody,

Recently i bought an Accent 1.3 SOHC A/T Mod 2001 which i facing a little question.
I believe that it's fuel consumption is much more than it should be.

I calculated that it needs about 11lt/100km with fairly good driving conditions and
not speeding up more than 100km/h.

I heard that automatic gear boxes consume a liitle bit more but i dont believe that it should be that much.

Can anyone inform me as were the problem may be found as i heard many opinions.

It is serviced ok with a new air filter, oil, spark plugs, and all neccesary belts.

Also what is the average fuel consumption this engine should go ?

Thanks

Default RE: Fuel Consumption

The engine is too smaller output to effeciently run a traditonal autobox...... Thus it eats fuel ........

Poor design I'm afraid
