Help with choosing an exhaust? :D
Hi, I recently added a cold air intake into my 2001 Accent GL. (1.6L) I've decided to add a exhaust to help add a little more power. Do any of you have suggestions? Brand?, type?, model?
Here is also a list of exhausts (most expensive to least) I found on ebay. Anyone better than the rest?

do some research first, most of these are likely FAR too large for that little engine. remember this is a small 1.6L so it doesn't need a huge exhaust. on n/a engines you need some restriction or you're going to start losing power. the reason is simple - exhaust velocity. the gasses hit a bigger pipe and are able to slow down and that reduces the velocity on the exhaust valves and therefore the intake.
Your not gonna get much from the system, if anything flat spots. I'd just go for a backbox for a nice rumble an looks, and little impact on back pressure.
unless your gonna turbo it.
Ebay in the uk have a really good free flow, rot proof, heat shieleded, but its more functional than a looker.
