Default Hot / cold control vent control. Never goes to heat

I have a '99 Accent. I was installing a new (to me) stereo yesterday, and like a dunce, I think pulled the heater control out too far. Now I can't slide it over to the hot side and it only blows cold.

I'm thinking there's gotta be a flap or whatever that goes back and forth between hot / cold, and when I pulled it too far, it got hung up on something, etc. But I'm not familiar with all that. Is there a way to access that without having to pull the whole dash apart?

*edit: I think I'm looking for the blend door / air mix door. Is there an easy way to reach that? If I could just move that over to heat for now, I'd be content to leave it until winter lets up.

Nevermind, I found it. For the sake of posterity, I thought I'd share what I found.

If you look behind the center console from under the steering wheel, you'll see this:

The cable from the controls is coming out from the upper right and connects to the larger white... thing. That, in turn, connects to the smaller one above it, which controls the blend door.

I'd pulled mine off track. The cable was pulled out a little, but re-wrapping it a little took care of that.
