Hyundai accent 5door 2006 model - new stereo installation problems
Hi everyone,
I recently bought a accent and wanted to install a new stereo because the one in the car would not play any of my cds ( and i wanted an AUX input so i could plug my ipod into it) i managed to finally get the dash appart and remove the old stereo, i got wiring diagrams for colors for the accent to match it with the new stereo (clarion) i joined all the cables accordingly and i get nothing out of the stereo. I cant figure out why everything should work fine but it just wont power up.
Anyone have any ideas before i send it for an expensive trip to the auto electricians.
Thanks in advance.

hey guys you can close this thread. i figured the problem, when i was placing the new plug in the accent radio cables i must have accidently touch active and nuetral together and shorted out the battery causing ALL of the fuses associated with the radio to blow (because i was too lazy to disconnect the nuetral from the battery >.< my mistake). i replaced them and it works fine now
