When i turn on my window wipers, my headlights turn off and as soon as the wipers hit the bottom the lights flash on....any ideas why?

Default wiper problems

its a 2003. Its a base model, so the car doesn't have rear wipers. It'll just be the front wipers that are messed up...

based on the wiring diagram in the ETM i would check ground G06. this is in the right kick panel on the inside by the passenger door. i attached a photo. the park switch shares a ground with the multifunction switch. if that ground is loose it may be back feeding into the multifunction switch, because electricity will choose the path of least resistance. let me know how you make out with this. good luck
