Injector Sensor code after fill up
On my '99 Accent, everything has been running just fine. I filled up on gas the other day, and right when I started it after, I noticed it was missing. So I ran a scan, and I'm getting Injector Circuit/Open on cylinder 2.
I previously had a bunch of charcoal in the canister (common problem with Hyundais, with the slow fill up, etc.) About a month ago, I opened that up to see if was what folks often report, and it all dumped out. It's been totally fine since then. Not sure if that's related, but I thought I'd mention it. |
Not related. And open circuit problem is an electrical issue. The injector is probably bad.

Yeah, it's the injector. I swapped the two middle ones to test. Now it comes up as injector circuit for cylinder 4. Just a coincidence, I guess. I ordered a replacement
So... which one is 4? I'm having a hard time figuring out the cylinder order. I was thinking I was swapping 2 and 3. But one has to be 4. Which one is it? |
What engine? SOHC or DOHC?

2nd image. DOHC then?
Got it figured out either way. New injector came in, so I put it in the 2nd one from the left. I figured that couldn't be number 2 because... well I had a some logical reason but I forgot now. :) And wow, what a difference in power! Way more than even before it started missing. |
The second image is the SOHC and the second cylinder from the left is the #2 cylinder.
