Are you using the specific Hyundai-to-iPod cable or just a standard iPod USB cable?

You need the specific Hyundai cable:



You can get one from Amazon cheaper than the dealership.

I had the same problem and couldn't figure out why... until I bought the Hyundai-to-iPod it worked fine. However, I believe my itouch was not updated cause it did not read it properly but my Iphone 4 worked just fine. auxiliary Cable worked with my Itouch and I phone too...
