Default Keyless Entry

Hey,

New to the Forum, just bought a 2006 Hyundai Accent yesterday. I was just wondering if anyone knows if there's a way to tell if Keyless Entry is available on the car. The car didn't come with a remote, but it does have Power Locks (Lock one door and they ALL lock)...

Is there a way to tell or do I have to get a remote....anyone know how to program a remote?

Thanks

Paul.

Hey Paul,

I have the same question. I read that if you have power locks you might be able to buy one of those fobs and take it to a hyundai dealer for reprogramming. I don't know if that is a fact tough...

You can take it to Besy Buy or Circuit City and have them install a keyless entry system. Cost you about $100 or so, but it can be done.
