Forgive me, I am new to the forum and didn't turn up anything in the search. I have read the manual for the radio and I am still not having any luck with the aux input. I have a 2010 Accent GLS....loaded......

I have an iphone 4 and the satellite radio/cd player will not recognize my iphone for music. I guess I am ok with that. What I want to know, can I run a 1/8th inch stereo cable from my iphone to the aux in jack just to listen to music? I had an old cable laying around and when I plugged it on and hit the aux button, there was no sound from the iphone?

Do I need a special 1/8 inch cable or can I not get a signal into the aux input?

Diagnostics....Ideas.....Opinions....?
