Screaming power steering!
I own a 2004 Hyundai Accent with a very bad problem with screaming power steering. I recently put a new water pump in and timing belt. After several weeks of problem free driving my power steering started to scream all the time. I read several suggestions on this forum and found the cure.
After tightening the alternator belt the screaming stopped. They work together and both belts need to be very tight.
Wow I was so surprised and happy.
