Default timing belt advice. waterpump question

i just biught an 03 accent from a buddy with 104000 on it. the timing belt hasnt been done yet and im looking for parts. firstly i need to know the the water pump is timing belt driven cuz if so then i'll replace that as well. secondly does anyone know where a can mabey get a timing belt that comes with everything. also what all would i need to do the timing belt.

Water pump is timing belt driven. Check eBay for a timing belt kit. If you are challenged by changing the brakes, don't even think about doing the timing belt. In other words, if you have to ask how to do it, I don't recommend you try.

With that many miles, yes, I'd advise changing the water pump while you doing the timing belt.

well im not challenged by brakes and im sure i can do it just never have. but from the looks of it, it's def not timing belt driven waterpump. i can see the waterpump, has a pulley on it and serpentine runnin around it

Ok, I just went and pulled up the valve cover and from what I can see the timing belt looks just fine. Should I change it anyway? The car has 117,000 miles on the original belt.

You can't tell if it's fine or not by a visual inspection. It should have been changed at 60K miles. So you are 57k miles over due. Get it changed quick because if it breaks, it will destroy the engine.
