I have a 99 accent and the auto trans slips between every gear, also overdrive and reverse do not work.
its full of fluid. when the trans shifts from 1 to 2 it is very hard, third shift good. wondering if anyone has had the same problem and what fixed it?
how much is a rebuild?
are these trans hard to remvove from the car?

 

before you rebuild go to autozone, buy a bottle of "lucas transmittion treatment", its white with blue letters, you shouldn't need more then half to three fourths of hte bottle, if you dont notice a huge difference within three miles then you need to look into getting the tranny rebuilt
