Wipers - work and then stop
Hi,
I have an Accent 2001 hatchback. When I turn the wipers on (in any setting) they work for a few strokes and then they pause for a while and then they resume. Then they pause again. The pauses keep getting longer and longer until they stop completely altogether.
I took a look under the cover and added some lube on the mechanical connections on the odd chance it is friction of some sort. No luck.
Also checked the the fuse, which seems OK.
The motor seems OK, I can see no obstruction on the arms.
I am at a loss here and any ideas would be very much appreciated.
