Default Wiring Problems

Hello Everyone,

I have troubles finding the cause of the problem on my 2007 Hyundai Accent 3DR.

When I press the brake pedal, the rear defeoster indicator light on the dashboard comes on. After months, the symptom disappeared, because I have no brake lights at all.

I look at the wiring in the hatch area, cleaned the grounds but the problem is still there. I looked at the wiring schematic but have a hard time understanding it.

Could someone point me in a direction? I'm out of ideas.

Thanks in advance,
Marcell

You may need to get into the wiring harness that flexes every time you open and close the hatch.

If one of the wires in there has a break in it ,the circuit needing a good connection may be using another path.
