Default Air conditioning

Has anyone else noticed that the air conditioner compressor runs in the fan only (or off) mode? It would help MPG if you could just run the fan. I think it may have something to do with the humidity sensor on the dash, to the right of the radio. If it is above a certain humidity level, it turns on the air.

I don't have an Azera, but just thought I'd let you know that the AC comp. will run if you have the fan on ANY defrost setting. If the compressor runs when you have the fan and AC switched to 'OFF' I'd take it to the dealer and have them diagnose the problem as it should be under warranty.
