Default Suspension noise for 06 Azera

[:@]I have a 06 Azera with 14K Mi that I have taken to the dealer (Allen Samuel) in Fort Worth numerous times about the clunking sounds at low speeds over even small bumps. Each time, the dealer tells me that they only hear 'normal suspension' noise. I am 69 and have owned 30+ cars in my life and never had a car whose suspension makes thoses noises. In addition, it is beginning to ride like a truck. Icurrently also own an 07 Toyota Solara convertilbe that rides twice as smooth and is quiet as can be. About 8 weeks ago, I took the Azera in for a racket that it was making when I first started it up in the morning. I had just changed the oil and filter. The service advisor called me and said that there was a service bulletin about a timing belt/chain tensioner but that he first had to change to a Hyundai filter before he could do anything. After changing the oil and filter, he then installed what ever part wasneeded to be installed under warranty, which fixed the issue.I do not use off brand filters and to require a Hyundai filter before replacing a defective part is, I believe a rip off. After all, they knew there was a problem or there would not have been a service bulletin about it.

Default RE: Suspension noise for 06 Azera

Does the clunking sound like it's coming from the front? or the rear? There is a TSB describing a "hollow knocking" sound related to the front shocks. See attached graphics.
