extra mileage divice
Hello couldanyone send me a pic of the IAT sensor. I think its a 5 wire and the IAT hot in in pin #1. can anyone confirm this? This devise hooks up there, claims 10 mpg better. We'll see!Well worth the $30.00 hope it works. JOhn
Does anyone have any experience with these gas mileage streching devises.

Like the man said, don't do it!
Many many peoplehave tried such devises and these pieces of junkhave been
tested by such people as Consumers Reports, etc.and it has been
proven that none of these devises work!
Should you go ahead and try this devise, would you be interested
in some ocean front property I have for sale in Arizona?

RE: extra mileage divice
It's not a real computer chip. It's nothing but a 10-cent resistor that changes the signal from the IAT to the computer to make the computer think the air is cooler than it really is. In turn, the computer richens up the fuel mixture. All that does is make your car run too rich and wastes fuel. It will also damage the cat but making the car run too rich.

Good point. I agree 100 percent.
It is like Joseph ("Paper Collar Joe") Bessimer is reported to have said way back when:
"There's a sucker born every minute" is a phrase often credited
to P.T. Barnum (1810 – 1891), an American showman.
It is generally taken to mean that there are (and always will be)
a lot of gullible people in the world.
Do not buy such devises, let alone install them. They are a waste of dinero.
