Hello all, am new here so please be gentle

I've recently bought a 2l '98 Coupe F2. I love it at the moment, but it has a problem. The exhaust is blowing a bit and I'm not sure which 'bit' I need to replace it with.

It turns out that my car was registered in a transition year. This is why I have the problem. The part I need could be one of two parts!! One part looks right in the manual, but has the wrong shaped connection rubbers, and the other part has the right looking rubbers, but the actual pipe looks too short!

I'm struggling to explain which part of the exhaust it is, but I guess it's the third piece back and has a rubber concertina thing on it!! (if that makes any sense?) The mechanic mentioned the gaskets if that helps?!?

I don't know if you can tell, but I know absolutely nothing about cars.

I hope that someone may know what I just said, and would be willing to help me?!!?
