Engine change gen 2

I have a generation 2 coupe 1.6 but have manage to blow the engine. I found a replacement from a gen 2 same year aswell but it 2.0l does anyone know if it wil fit in place of the 1.6?

If the engine came from the same year and model, yes, it should fit.

Be sure to have the original harness and ECU from the 2.0L as they are different from the 1.6L.
