I have a 1997, 2 litre coupe SE, having bit of trouble starting car at the moment and hoping someone can help me.......
When you depress the clutch which enables you to start the vehicle, my car just doesnt seem to want to start, it is taking me 5 or 6 tries before it starts. its not a problem with the key its a problem with the clutch pedal,, as im really having to force it to just get it started. PLease help me as my car is very essential on a daily basis for work travel,

could well be a problem with the crank position sensor. next time it does it get some one to check if you have spark at the plugs.
