01 Elantra Fuel Pump Relay
Anyone know how to activate the relay so I can pump out the tank? Have the injector rail off the car and need to get rid of some bad gas. Thanks in advance.
BTW, always read how much Marvel Mystery Oil to add to your gas. Don't assume its 1 quart to a full tank like this guy I know...

Okay, so I'll answer my own question.
It's easy. Disconnect the fuel rail from its supply hose.
Remove the rear seat bottom by pushing backward on it and lifting at the same time (whew).
Under the seat find the cover for the fuel pump and lift off.
Disconnect the fuel pump electrical connector.
Take an external car battery (or jumper the car battery) to pos. on terminal one, neg. on terminal 2 of the male connector of the fuel pump. You can check the female connector for the pins, one is red/white the other black but they are the heavier guage wires.
Pumped about 10 gallons in 15 minutes.
Taa Daa!
BTW, if you intend on removing the fuel pump, I can guarantee that the front most screws will break off because of the air gap Hyundai didn't seal up between the body of the car and the tank. It allows all the road water to rust those screws right out.
