My 07 Elantra had a strange episode today. The key seemed to "Jam" in the ignition and it was impossible to turn to the start position. Eventually, I was able to "jimmy" the steering wheel back and forth and free the key. The car started normally, but ever since then, I have been unable to turn the audio system on. There appears to be no power to it, and it doesn't respond to any inputs.

Could these items be related, and any suggestions to troubleshoot?

The key jam is normal and is part of the steering interlock. If you turn the key off with the wheel slightly turned it will cause that "jam" situation. All you have to do is turn the steering wheel slightly to take the pressure off the ignition cylinder.

I have no idea why the radio doesn't work. Check the fuses.
