I am considering buying a 2000 ELANTA with 52,000 miles on it for my daughter. It is AUTO and seems in relative good shape. Price here in PA is $3900. How is this price? Since I'm new to Hyundai I have some questions. Are they a good car? both reliabilty and safety. what kind of gas mileage? Any particular problems that I should be aware of or look for? Will the engines/trans last for 100,000 miles. I am looking to get her a car which will last at least for her next 4 years of college. Any help or advice would be appreciated.
