I need to replace the cylinder head on my 2001 Elantra 2.0L. I had read that 2001 - 2003 Elantra engines are the same. I have also read that some Tiburon engines are the same. I understand that a camshaft actuator / sensor was introduced either in 2003 or 2004 and therefore from that year onward the engine is not compatible anymore.

Does anybody know which year, 2003 or 2004?
