Default 2003 Elentra VE - headlight issue.

I have a 2003 Hyundai Elantra VE (CDN version) and recently my highbeam on the passenger side stopped working, so I bought 1 new bulb (whatever you call it) and replaced the old one, but when testing it after installation it was not lighting up. So I thought it was defective, I brought it back to the store and got a new one, tried it same thing.

So now I'm wondering what to do next, is there a fuse linked to that specific highbeam connection that i could check? what is my next step to getting this working again?

There's a high beam headlight relay in the fuse box under the hood. I'd try to replace that. If that doesn't work, then there's a short in the wires someplace.

Thank you for your help. I resolved the issue, it seems a mistake was done by me when re-inserting that awkward V pin bracket that holds the beam inplace. It's not only a bracket but a bridge also over to the ground.

I was installing it with the tip pointing towards the engine instead of the tip pointing and holding snug onto the light's metal plate.

Those brackets are the biggest pains in the you know where.
