I have a 2001 GT, 106k miles. I'm currently looking for a new car. The funny thing is that I am basing a large part of my criteria on the quality of the 6-speaker audio system in the GT. I have yet to find a current year model to match it's quality, clarity and separation. I have driven the Nissan Altima, Toyota Rav4, Mazda6 and even the Hyundai Sonata. Not one comes even close to the kick-*ss sound my '01-Gt produces. It's funny how every salesperson tells me "this car has a great stereo". So I guess my resolution would be to get the vehicle of my choice and then purchase an after market audio system Can you tell me the specs and the speakers that are in the '01-GT? Does Hyundai still offer this quality of sound in any verhicle?
