Gents what maintenance should I get done to my wife's 04 Elantra with 160K?

And what maintenance can I do?

Timing Belt + water Pump..... I'm quite handy with tools but is this a garage job.

Transmission fluid change+filter.

Power Steering fluid change.

Anything else?

That depends on what maintenance has been done before and when. We can't read minds here so you have to tell us.


Is the water pump leaking? If not then it doesn't need replacing.


How old is the timing belt? It should be replaced every 60,000 miles.


How old is the trans fluid? It should be changed every 30,000 miles.


How old is the power steering ? It should be replaced every 60,000 miles.
