I've tried searching this site for answers but came up dry. I have a 2016 Elantra GT with a keyed ignition. My problem is the car is sending the key in the ignition when I take the key out. (I know this because I hear the singing when I exit the car) It's also causing my key fob not to work. Has anyone else run into this problem? If so, what was your fix?

 

Not sure about your request.
There is an accessory power circuit that when you turn the key off you can still close the windows, hear the radio and a few other functions UNTIL you open a door.
That circuit stays powered for approx 5-10 minutes then shuts down automatically to prevent battery rain. It also shuts down as you open anyone of the doors when departing the vehicle.
