Hi Everyone,

I just had my new winter tires installed. They are Hankook Winter i-Spike RS (W419) Tires. The rims and tires are all brand new and I saw the mechanic balanced all four of my tires myself. However, my car starts to vibrate at around 120km/h on 407 ETR. Does anyone know why? Is it because Hankook tires are not that good or it's just the nature of winter tires? I didn't have this problem with my stock all-season tires.

 

Winter tires shouldn't do that. The tires either aren't balanced properly or maybe one wheel is loose.

 

Have you had the chance to checked your rims? Your rims may be bent or unbalanced.
