my first post here, I live in Chicagoland area. Late February I purchased my new 2019 Elantra value edition within the first 100 miles I had a rock flung up and chip my windshield. The chip was filled but still very visible on the passenger side.
For the real questions there is now water collecting in thick lines that run parallel to the wiper blades. It is an indent you can feel on the outside of the glass that completely disappears when glass is dried. I have attached photos I took this morning while at a stop light, water from melting snow was coming down from the roof and it pools into these lines. Are these scratches from my wiper blades? If so I will call my insurance and just have them replace the entire windshield if it now has a giant chip and scratches. Currently has 1000 miles.
