adjusting clutch on 2005 elantra

Hi I have a 2005 elantra and I see at the back of the clutch I am almost at the top when Clutch engages. I see two 12 mm nutsdo I take those nuts down or up? towards the peddle or down toward the firewall?

If it's like my '99, there is no adjustment.
