I don’t know where the wires come from but I do know that the sw/sensor is mounted next to the hood latch on the underside of metal frame. Ooops I had better qualify that. I’m working on my sons 04’ and that is for sure where it’s mounted. It’s a nice safe location so I would expect the 07’ and up would also use it.
