Default Belts

Hi All-

I have a 2002 Elantra GLS 4 cy. w/air-how many belts are on the car to replace? not including the timing belt. Also, which is the most important belt to replace (this question is for my daughters Elantra, and I don't know how much money she has).

If its time to replace the timing belt, then that is the most important belt to replace. If the other ones break, they won't damage the engine like a timing belt breaking would.

You can assess the condition of the other belts by looking them over and inspecting for cracks, missing chunks of belt, weathered surfaces, etc.
