Brake issues on Elantra

Brake issues on Elantra
Hi,
My name is Chet and I am new to this forum. I have a 2001 Elantra that I purchased new. It has been a great car for me but recently the brakes have been going all the way to the floor when I first press the brake on a cold start from time to time. I have no idea what this could be. Any ideas?
