Hyundai Elantra While not much larger than the accent, the Elantra offers similar room, but a sportier look and feel, as well as more power.

Default Brakes

My brakes squeak like hell. I thought there was something wrong. Wasted 80 dollars at Hyundai dealership because they said nothing was wrong with them. They still squeak bad though.. whats up with that!

Try a second source Brake repair place, just for a check out.

I have three Elantra in the familt none of the brakes squeek. We had an old Tempo that had brake issues for years, then one day a Just For Brakes tech tweaked 'em in like new...like it was no issue.

There's a setup, and if done correctly (and a tech actually takes the time)...it can be fixed.

Think about it, all 4 brakes are to be adjusted to precisly hit the rotors at the same time.

Brake systems are very similar to most cars, the Elantra is nothing that different. Any brake shop can work on them.

If squeking is not the cause of a worn out brake pad, then try having your brake rotors refinished.
