Can the 2.0 replace the 1.8?

Just curious to know if the 2.0 can replace the 1.8 without having to rewire the whole car. I can only assume the computer would have to be up graded to the 2.0. Could you use the wiring loom from the 1.8?

i would think that it will probably not match up, but i do not know for sure.
