HI

My question is that I have had a used ECM replaced in a 2002 Elantra GLS. Is the used ECM just as good as a new one-the price difference is almost 800-900 $s

Any help much appreciated

Only if you know that it works. Sure, a used one might be cheaper but it also might not work at all or it may die in a few months. That's the risk you take with used electronics.
