i have a 2008 elantra. My son has inserted a 5 cent coin into the cd player. I wonder if someone can tell me how to get it out. will i need to remove the cd unit and if so how do i do that? thanks

 

the head unit should just pop out, stick a small flat head screw driver in the crack surrounding the radio unit and just pop it out. But if there is a coin in there, you will probably have to completely tear apart the head unit, I'm not an expert, you may be able to get it out without taking it apart, I just don't know, i don't own an elantra, If its under warranty you could try getting the dealer to pay for a new one, otherwise, Id just buy an aftermarket one.
