hey does any one out there know what model engine is in the 2007 elantra gls

 

4cyl 2.0L

lol the model of the engine not the size of the engine .

 

It could either be DOHC or CVVT. Check under the hood, should give you some info.

 

The engine is the 2.0L BetaII

 

lol ok let me break it down i guess i asked the wrong question does any body know the engine model. here is an example somthin like a honda has a b18a5 engine.

i did some research and i came up with 4g63t but thats an older engine so no u got the idea can u guys help me out i looked all around my engine where i could see and all i found on the block was 2.0 xd

 

Probably a G4GC7. Look at the first 5 characters of the engine ID number on the block.
