I agree, but if you want better gas mileage you need less weight. My friend just bought a new Camaro and he has the same thing in his trunk. I think its just how car companies are going now to meet with the demand of better MPG. My only complaint about the Elantra is its too darn good looking for a compact car! But no, I only have had one issue with it and thats how it was made. My navigation mic and sport shift didnt work when I got it because the manufacturing plant in Alabama didnt clip in the harnesses all the way. Simple fix but it shoulda been done right the first time.

The spare tire is an OPTION. If you want one, you have to pay for it.
