Default How much is to much valve seat leak down?

I sprayed starting fluid in the intake and exhaust ports and had about 6 valves that leaked more then I think they should. More of a small stream then a drip. How much is too much? Id like to have just forgot to do that step so I could have the head on the motor. If I have to lap the valves then that just means more work. If its something like a drip every 2 seconds then im stuck lapping 6 of them. Anyone know?

Also. Is a valve spring tool needed to pull the valves? Thanks.

Wish more people where on this site. One more question. In the book it says to make sure the old and new head gasket match up. Does that mean that the water gasket holes all need to be in the same spot? If so my new one is wrong. Everything else seems to be where it should be otherwise. Come on Elantra experts!!!
