Hi everbody ,i am having some transmision shifting problems i went on hmaservice.com a site dedicated to hyundai techs, However the fault code that i got fron a scanner indicated a Pulse generator in the transmission valve body that has a short ,what i need to know is how do i remove the valve body what are the screws you remove i took apart the oil sump pan,and transmission filteralready, i would appreaciate if i could get some pic showing me which screws to remove thanks in advance.

it's not in the transmission valve body. what year elantra do you have? well it said pulse generator so i'm assuming it's the older elan., the sensor is on the top and at the bottom side of the trans close to the oil pan. if it is the newer elan. then you can replace whichever one it calls for, input or output sensor.

Signup and register, Find your vehicle under the shop link and some info is there on your valve body dissasembly/reassembly, etc.....

Or buy a haynes menu
