I have a 2018 Hyundai Elantra. The car is easier to turn at low speeds, and it's harder to turn in sport mode. But at high speeds it's harder to turn to give you better control at higher speeds. Is it possible to reprogram the power steering to by easier to turn at high speeds? Surely with it being able to be harder to turn in sport mode with a push of a button it's all software enabled. I might even see if I can swap out a power steering control module for another Hyundai to fix this.

 

I would suggest you check with Hyundai on this. Because , there are complicated electronics at play here and you can't just go switching parts as we might have done in the past. You could wind up with problems you don't have the equipment to diagnose and correct.
