My daughter in college has a 2001 with 202K miles on it and I was told by my mechanic that the ball joints have alot of play in them and need to be replaced. I have replaced the wheel bearing and the Hub, after inspection of the wheel, now she needs the ball joints replaced. I purchased 2 ball joints and ready to have them installed, how much can she expect to pay to have them installed, not at a dealer?- and about how long can they go since now she is short of money currently.
