I need help, where is the MAP sensor on a 2005 elantra (XD) 2.0 eng, I can not find one no where. A pic of location will be great help

 

That's because the engine in a 2005 Elantra doesn't have a MAP. It does have a Mass Airflow (MAF) sensor mounted between the filter box and the throttle body. Marked as item #1 on the graphic.

 

Thanks Ken. I am wanting to add a hydrogen generator unit to it, and the MAP sensor was one the sensors that had to be manipulated, also the O2. The MAF also can be manipulated instead of MAP but MAP was better if had one. maybe you could help me as to what would be the signal wire on the 02, and is the MAF frequency based signal or voltage?

Look under the "Shop" or "ETM" options. The above graphic was found on this site. Come back here if you have trouble finding what you are looking for. Also, there is a similar site for Kia that seems easier to navigate with the same basic information, but in this case you would look up a 2005 or 2006 Spectre, http://www.kiatechinfo.com/index.asp

 

I spent about 45 min in this site, I am already registered there, I did find schematics, but they was basic schematics, and did not show nothing about which wire was what on either O2 or MAF, basically showed about where they were.

 

Here is the wiring schematic for the MAF and both O2 sensors. Shows the wire color and connector number including the master bus.

All wiring schematics can be found under the "ETM" section of the service site. This particular one was among those listed "MFI Control System (Gasoline)".

The Hyundai and Kia service sites are unique. Besides, I gave up on GM products about 25 years ago so I have no interest to go searching for one.
