Hyundai Elantra While not much larger than the accent, the Elantra offers similar room, but a sportier look and feel, as well as more power.

Default Not Starting

I have a 95 Elantra and it's been sitting up for 2 years....It was working fine then but since it's been sitting up it won't start. When I try to start it it just cranks....but no start...But when i take the breather off and spray ether in there while cranking it starts until the ether runs out......I am thinking it is something with the fule punp fuse, only because it's what my uncle told me I know close to nothing about cars. So i went got a book about the car and it said check the fuse, but it doesn't show where the fuse is so I'm kinda stuck... Please help cause i need my car running for when school starts Aug. 10....

sounds like you need a new fuel pump. If i had to guess, that would be the thing to change. Especially since your talking a 1995 model. one way to check this, when you turn on the car, leave the door open.... listen for the Whirling sound from the fuel tank area... if you don't hear it, you will need a new fuel pump. The fuel pump fuse, if there is one... should be under the hood, in the fuse compartment. Will probalby be a big MAXX fuse.
