Hyundai Elantra While not much larger than the accent, the Elantra offers similar room, but a sportier look and feel, as well as more power.

Default P2626, P0030 codes

I have 2006 Hyundai Elantra GLS. Check engine light came on. Took it to O'reillys to have a diagnostics and came back P2626, P0030 codes. Can someone explain what this means. I know it has to do with the Oxygen Sensor but does that code say which one (or both) and does it say exactly what the problem is with the o2 sensor. The light doesnt stay on all the time. It goes off periodically (doesnt blink).............comes on for a few days goes off for a few days. I filled up with gas today and it went off.

Thanks,
Greg

P0030 ... heater control circuit of O2 sensor
P2626 ... O2 signal out of parameters

Sounds like the wiring could be an issue or faulty O2 sensor
